while it may seem that the true, or, to say, main intention of tumblr would be to create a blogging platform through the use of images; i would wish to do otherwise. Now, I know that my tone and style of writing, appears to be pretentious and obsolete, but regardless, I am going to write a text anyway. though tumblr is a website of images, particularly, (as it would seem from the small image of it that I have obtained myself, though the people whom I have seen) pertaining to those of “emo” fashion, hipster fashion, indie fashion, and, what seems to make up the bulk of the demographics and with a term that i have coined: “suicidal blogs”. while suicide is a problem and psychological issue that seem to prevail in my age group, I do not think that it is something to be flouted by these blogs. anyway, back to the main topic of the text post, that I highly doubt that anyone will read anyway. I believe that is a blog is to be an extension, or and expression of your life and emotions that the image platform should not be the only method of doing so, and yes, I do know that people text post, it is just that it is not nearly enough. but I only take the risk of introducing text posts due to the fact that, I only have a small enclave of followers and do not care if I lose them. so thus begins a potential second thing to my, already, lonely blog.
